Seven out of ten van drivers say that they use their van as a mobile office, according to research by Swinton, one of the UK’s leading providers of commercial vehicle insurance.
Survey of 1,500 van insurance customers found 71% use their van as a ‘mobile office’.
The most common office activities carried out in the van were:
1. Making phone calls
2. Reading and sending emails
3. Storing paperwork
4. Diary management
The poll found that the most popular item oregon auto insurance used in the van was the blackberry (41%), followed by laptops (17%) and 12% even said the carry out paperwork from the vehicle
